I'm Adam Szwaba, a senior software engineer based in Poland. Most of my work over the past few years has focused on a specific kind of problem: long-running, complex engineering efforts — migrations, large-scale refactoring, platform-wide localization — where the real challenge isn't the code but the coordination. I design orchestration systems that let AI agents maintain continuity across months of work, dozens of chat sessions, and multiple contributors. I've built and run these systems in production, and I write about what actually works and what breaks.
